Muzyka Silesian Space Program, czyli dwójki młodych producentów z Wrocławia oczarowała nas od razu swoim niepowtarzalnym klimatem. Ich album „Earl Grey Blue Flower” to przydymione bity, jazzowe sample, wokalne fragmenty starych polskich nagrań, ethiojazzowe i dubowe wątki, a to wszystko mocno inspirowane brzmieniem wytwórni Brainfeeder (Flying Lotus, Ras G) oraz postaciami takimi jak Sun Ra czy Lee Scratch Perry, uważni dosłyszą również wpływy RZA. To nie jest po prostu instrumentalny hip-hop czy trip-hop, to płyta, którą można określić jako beattape z duszą. Zakochaliśmy się od razu!

The music of Silesian Space Program, a pair of young producers from Wroclaw, enchanted us immediately with its unique atmosphere. Their album “Earl Grey Blue Flower” features smoky beats, jazz samples, vocal fragments of old Polish recordings, ethiojazz and dub themes, all heavily inspired by the sound of the Brainfeeder label (Flying Lotus, Ras G) and figures such as Sun Ra or Lee Scratch Perry, the attentive will also hear RZA influences. This isn’t just instrumental hip-hop or trip-hop, it’s a record that can be described as a beattape with soul. We fell in love immediately!
